Marriage (LoG)

Marriage is a type of romantic event in Pretty Country: Land of Greenery which the player can woo one of 20 marriage candidates. There are ten marriage candidates for each gender and same-sex marriage is not an option.

Love Events

Marriage candidates have love events that range from one to four hearts and must be triggered in sequential order. Love events occur when the person is at the matching amount of hearts or higher (e.g. the player can still trigger the marriage candidate's first love event even if that person has 3 hearts).

Each love event only can be triggered once. During the event, the player will be prompted to select a response that will affect heart points of their chosen marriage candidate. There is no way to trigger a love event again regardless of the answer they had selected. Some love events have extra requirements, such as friendship with other townspeople.

Proposal

The player must give their potential spouse the Flower Jewel to propose to them. When a marriage candidate reaches 5 hearts, a dream will occur in which Angel Goddess tells the player to go to her castle after 18:00. They will receive Flower Jewel there, allowing them to propose. The dream will only happen after the player has reached Year 2 in-game.

When the player talks to their potential spouse while holding the Flower Jewel, that person will be shocked and suggest they go somewhere private, which happens to be in front of the player's house.
